So many times I promised post photos of different ways of blocking.
The sample here is Haapsalu shawl. I of course like the old traditional wooden frame but everyone can get beautiful correct result by using peno, wires and needles.
Here the samples:
Wires are set through sewing line between sahwl body and edge. Then edges are fixed by needles.
The 100% wool, 2/28 and 2/32 are best to block in medium strength.
Blocking tableclothes and doilies by using wires and needles.
Tableclothes knitted from fine cotton thread, are best to stark before blocking them.
I block them in more strength , other vise by using same method as above.
